Sonic raised pavement marker adhesive
is a hot poured adhesive consisiting of selected
bitumen and fillers |
| USES |
Sonic is especially formulated for
adhereing to all types of raised pavement markers
to both chipseal and hotmix surfaces. Non-toxic
and unaffected by acids and alkalis. Not resistant
to solvents, oils or greases. Areas contaminated
with these should be avoided. |

| SURFACE
PREPARATION |
Surface should be dry
and clean of dust and debris. Any loose chip should
be removed |
| APPLICATION |
Sonic Hoit Melt should be placed in an appropriate
agitated heating vessel and heated evenly until
the pouring temperature is reached. Required quantity
is poured from vessel to adequately support all
four corners or edges of the marker. Marker should
be placed with firm pressure (but not using foot)
as soon as practicable. Under No Circumstances
should maximum heating temperature be exceeded.
If bubbles are seen to form on the surface of
material, this indicates overheating of the product.;

| HANDLING
|
Care must be taken to
avoid splashing of hot adhesive. |
| PRECAUTIONS |
Cold water is best treatment
if splashed occur. |
